Euro Packaging Drivers get training course award

Staff at Euro Packaging, in Yardley, were put through their paces and earned themselves Level 2 and 3 NVQ awards in driving goods vehicles.

Drivers at the company were presented with their nationally-recognised awards after completing the NVQ qualification.

Impact Training Solutions put 21 drivers, who clock up more than 65,000 miles each a year, through their paces on health and safety, safe driving and customer care.

Dennis Ratchford, aged 58, from Yardley, said: “I really did enjoy this course and it shows that you can always learn something new. It is also great to get a qualification at my age.”

Euro Packaging’s Chris Lambert, Transport Manager said “This type of training is ideal to develop our workforce. All those who took part now have an award nationally recognised throughout the logistics industry.”

Impact Training Solutions works within the transport and logistics sector delivering NVQs UK wide.
